TER season finale Rally Terra Sarda ready to rock

Crews, teams and fans in for two days of action over technical island roads
In the build up to the 2023 TER season finale, Rally Terra Sarda, TER crews, including the main contenders for the titles at stake in the weekend, event organisers and guests including 1984 World Rally Champion Stig Blomqvist, who will drive a course car on the event, starred in the pre-event press conference in the beautiful marina of Porto Cervo.
Some of the TER crews then took to a new challenge, as they lined up for a cooking show in the Villaggio Rally Mirtò Sardegna on the harbour.
Many fans had their first taste of the crews and cars which lined up for a presentation ceremony, on a unique sea-themed podium, in a sun-lit afternoon, before a spectacular fireworks ceremony bid everybody a good night.
The sporting action will set off tomorrow, with shakedown starting from 08:00 on the 2,01 km Gallura – Fonti di Rinaggiu stage. Rally Terra Sarda will set off at 13:30 from Tempio Pausania, for the 5 special stages of the 1st day.
