2025 TER Historic Regulations

TER HISTORIC 2025 REGULATIONS



Art. 1 - DEFINITION AND ORGANISATION

1.1 - In 2025, Tour European Rally Promoter, will organise a series named TER Historic 2025. The series will be governed according to the International Sporting Code (ISC) and its Appendixes, the National Regulations of the Countries in which the Rallies are held, the individual Event Supplementary Regulations plus the present regulations.

Art. 3 - ELIGIBLE COMPETITORS AND DRIVERS

3.1 - Holders of international licenses will be admitted to the 2025 TER Historic, in accordance with the 2025 Appendix L to the ISC.



Art. 4 - ELIGIBLE VEHICLES

4.1 - Eligible vehicles must comply with Appendix K to the ISC and are those listed below. The cars are divided into the categories stated below.

Road legal cars built between 1/1/1931 and 31/12/1957 and Touring and GT cars, models homologated between 1/1/1958 and 31/12/1969.

Touring (T), Competition Touring (CT), Grand Touring (GT) and Competition Grand Touring (GTS) cars of Groups 1, 2, 3 and 4, models homologated between 1/1/1970 and 31/12/1975.

up to 1300cm³

from 1301cm³ to 2000cm³

2C

over 2000cm³

 

Category 3

 

Touring (T), Competition Touring (CT), Grand Touring (GT) and Competition Grand Touring (GTS) cars of Groups 1, 2, 3 and 4, models homologated between 1/1/1976 and 31/12/1981.

3A

up to 1600cm³

from 1601cm³ to 2000cm³

over 2000cm³

 

Category 4

 

Touring (T), Competition Touring (CT), Grand Touring (GT) and Competition Grand Touring (GTS) cars of Groups A, B and N, models homologated between 1/1/1982 and 31/12/1987 (Period J1) and models homologated between 1/1/1988 and 31/12/1992 (Period J2).

At scrutineering the Competitor must present the FIA Historic Technical Passport (“HTP”) .
All cars must be in conformity with the National Highway Code in their countries of registration.

4.2 - The 2025 TER Historic is divided in 2 Championships: TER Historic Pre81 and TER Historic J1/J2.

4.3 - The TER Historic Pre81 Championship is reserved to vehicles complying with Categories 1,2 and 3 standards, as per FIA Regulations.

4.4 - The TER Historic J1/J2 Championship is reserved to vehicles complying with Category 4 standards, as per FIA Regulations.

4.5 - At scrutineering, if a vehicle does not correspond in its presentation to the category and/or class in which it was entered, this vehicle may be transferred to the appropriate class, after decision of the stewards of the event.




Art. 5 - SERIES REGISTRATION AND SCORING REGULATIONS

5.1 - In the 2025 TER Historic PRE81 and TER Historic J1/J2 Championship registration for the Series will be free of charge. It will be possible to register until the posting of the start list of each rally.

5.2 - In the 2025 TER Historic, there is no minimum number of participants required for any given TER Historic PRE81 and TER Historic J1/J2 Championship scheduled event.

5.3 - For the final standings, all the results will be considered.

5.4 - In the event of two or more drivers being tied on points at any time during the season, the driver having set the fastest time in the most stages will be considered as being the leader.

5.5 - Fuel is free, but must comply with the Supplementary Regulations of the event.

5.6 - Tyres must comply with Appendix K to the ISC and Supplementary Regulations of the event.




Art. 6 - CLASSIFICATION - SCORES FOR EACH RALLY

6.1 - In each round, the competitors registered for the 2025 TER Historic PRE81 and TER Historic J1/J2 Championship will score the following points, according to their result in the events' final classifcation:

All the remaining competitors classified from 16th place (included) onwards will also get 1 (one) point.

6.2 - In the 2025 TER Historic PRE81 and TER Historic J1/J2 Championship competitors registered for the series will receive additional points as follows:
Each competitor will receive 3 points at the third start in a 2025 TER Historic PRE81 and TER Historic J1/J2 Championship event, 1 further point at the fourth, fifth and sixth start in a 2025 TER Historic PRE81 and TER Historic J1/J2 Championship event, for a maximum of 6 points.

6.3 - In each event of the 2025 TER Historic, before the start of the rally, the TER promoter will choose one Special Stage of the rally as the “Power Stage”. In this Special Stage the 3 fastest competitors of the TER Historic Pre81 and TER Historic J1/J2 Championship will be awarded bonus points for the respective standings:

Art. 7 - CLASSIFICATION OF THE SERIES

7.1- In every event in the 2025 TER Historic PRE81 and 2025 TER Historic J1/J2 Championship, dedicated classifcations will be published comprising only the competitors registered for the series: TER Historic PRE81 (only cars until 1981) and TER Historic J1/J2 Championship (Period “J1/J2”).

7.2 - If 2 or more crews finish the championship with equal points, the discriminating factors will be as:
- the number of rallies in which the crew took part.
- the placements (in overall or category standings).
- the number of Special Stages won (in overall or category standings).




Art. 8 - PRIZES

8.1- The 1st and the 2nd driver of 2025 TER Historic PRE81 and 2025 TER Historic J1/J2 Championship classifications will be awarded the title of 2025 TER Historic PRE81 champions and 2025 TER Historic J1/J2 Championship champions.
