Williams and Evans join the 2023 TER – Tour European Rally

Ahead of round 7 - JDS Machinery Rali Ceredigion

 

There are more great drivers joining the 2023 TER – Tour European Rally; a total of 74 crews has so far registered for the 8th season of the newest concept of rally series.

 

2022 Motorsport UK Asphalt R5 Champion James Williams, codriven by Dai Williams, will be back in action with a Hyundai i20 N Rally2. In last year's edition of Rali Ceredigion, he gave the car its British debut, and finished 3rd overall and 2nd in the British Championship.

 

Another crew returning to Aberystwyth is Meirion Evans and Jonathan Jackson. Driving a Volkswagen Polo R5, the car which they gave its first rally victory in the UK at the 2021 Dunoon Presents Argyll Rally in Scotland, they will seek revenge from last year, when they were fighting for a podium position before being sidelined in the beginning of the second leg by a mechanical issue.
