The world series of the TER aims to grow after maiden season

 

The new TER Series, the world series of the TER, is aiming to expand its calendar for the 2024 season.

 

After a 4-event maiden year in 2023, featuring Otago Rally in New Zealand, Rallye Antibes Côte d'Azur in France, Rally Barbados and the season finale at Rally Terra Sarda in Sardegna, Italy, the series promoters are working to increase the number of events.

 

Luca Grilli, TER Promoter and Organiser, said: "I am delighted with the maiden season of the TER Series; the world series of the TER is a further step within the TER Project, and has been greeted with great interest. Our aim for next year is to expand the calendar, and we feel that a 6-round series could be a good balance. We are talking to a number of events which have shown their interest, and we plan to reveal some exciting news during this year's final round, Rally Terra Sarda at the beginning of October, which will crown the first TER Series Champion".
