Tim Metcalfe with John Connor and Gabriele Rossi with Fabrizio Handel are the 2023 TER Historic Champions

Third crown in TER Historic Pre81 Championship for the British TER Ambassador

 

After the victories in 2020 and 2022, Tim Metcalfe and John Connor add the third TER Championship to their collection, winning the 2023 TER Historic Pre81 Championship on their usual Ford Escort RS. Their season started in style with the first place on the notorious Tuscany gravel stage of Rally Storico Valle del Tevere, and after a mechanical failure in their second race, Rallye Antibes Cote d’Azur, the British grabbed a third place in Rallye du Chablais and came back to success in Rally Terra Sarda.

 

In their maiden season in TER Historic, Italians Gabriele Rossi and Fabrizio Handel brought their Ford Sierra RS Cosworth to the victory twice in the season to take the 2023 TER Historic J1/J2 title.
