2023 TER Season Finale, Rally Terra Sarda unveiled

3 days of great events and sporting action in stunning Sardegna.

 

The final round of the 2023 TER - Tour European Rally, TER Historic and TER Series, Rally Terra Sarda's schedule and itinerary, have been revealed by the event organisers, Porto Cervo Racing.

 

From Friday October 6th to Sunday 8th, the Gallura area will see the crews fight over 11 special stages, starting from Tempio Pausania, through Arzachena, Calangianus, Luogosanto and Aglientu, while the finish and the Villaggio Rally Mirtò Sardegna will be hosted in Porto Cervo's stunning Promenade du Port.

 

On Friday 6th, Porto Cervo's Promenade du Port will host crews for pre-event scrutineering and the opening of Villaggio Rally Mirtò Sardegna, with several events including the TER Cooking Show, with the series' stars representing the various nations, the crews' presentation at 6PM and an evening firework show to round off the pre-event.

 

Saturday 7th, morning shakedown from 8 to 12 on the “Gallura-Fonti di Rinaggiu-Tecnograf” stage. The first car will set off at 13:30 from the start ramp in Tempio Pausania's Corso Matteotti towards the first stages, “Le sugherete – Gimar” at 14:09 and “I graniti di Gallura – Cala Costruzioni” at 14:57, before returning to Tempio Pausania for a regroup and Service Area. The crews will then repeat the first two stages, followed by a regroup in Aglientu and the day's final stage “I Castelli di Luogosanto – PPT”, then head for the overnight regroup in Porto Cervo's Molo Vecchio.

 

Sunday 8th, the engines will start at 7:30, as crews set off towards the Service Area in Arzachena. The opening loop of stages will feature 3 stages: “Stazzi di Gallura – Grimaldi” at 9:21, “Città di Arzachena – Aire” at 10:21 and “Costa Smeralda – Ayla Project" at 10:57. After another Service, and a regroup in Porto Cervo, the final loop of stages, with the “Città di Arzachena – Aire”, followed by “Stazzi di Gallura – Grimaldi” and the closing test of “Costa Smeralda – Ayla Project”.

 

The finish and prizegiving ceremony will be hosted on the podium in Porto Cervo's Molo Vecchio, from 15:19.
