Tandalò becomes the third TER Promo Event of 2023

Experimental event to host the Series’ stars and benefit from global promotion

 

The last TER Promo Event of the 2023 season will be based at Buddusò, in Sardinia, and follow a different concept, matching the Series’  innovative philosophy.

 

Labelled an experimental race, the Cronoscalata di Tandalò will take  place on 11th and 12th November. Celebrating its 7th edition, with past winners including former WRC star Gigi Galli, this gravel hillclimb over a 5-kilometre stretch of road admits several types of vehicles, including rally, off road, vst, open and historic each with dedicated standings, and also counts for the Italian Offroad Championship.

 

The programme comprises a shakedown on Saturday morning, followed by 3 runs during the afternoon. On Sunday 2 more passes before the final: to crown the overall winner, the King of Tandalò, the best of each category challenge each other in the final heat which decides the champion.

 

Drivers of the 2023 TER season will be welcome to tackle the event and meet the challenge during the 2 days of action in Sardinia.

 

The Cronoscalata di Tandalò, although not one of the regular TER rounds, will benefit from a promotion and TV coverage similar to those offered to the Series.

 

Previous TER Promo Events include Rally of Nations Guanajuato – Rally Mexico, Arctic Lapland Rally, and Rally Montre (Japan) won by former F1 driver, and Japanese Rally Champion, Finn Heikki Kovalainen.
