Driving a Hyundai i20N, Jose Luis Pelaez codriven by Alberto Chamorro is a solid fourth, increasing his gap over the Škoda Fabia Rally2 of Pablo Díez and Maria Esther Gutiérrez.

Two more crews are enjoying the great technical roads of Andalucía after a difficult opening day: 2019 Tour European Rally runner-up, Germans Stefan Göttig and Natalie Solbach-Schmidt are aiming for a top-ten finish with their Škoda Fabia, ahead of the rejoining Hyundai I20 of Pedro Perez codriven by Alejandro Leseduarte.

Young TER Junior driver Sergi Pérez, with Lorena Romero on a Peugeot 208 Rally4, is untouchable in his class: 11 straight category wins and a commanding lead over Santiago Garcìa and Nèstor Casal's 208. Third place is held by the Renault Clio Rally5 of Alberto Pérez codriven by Andrea Fidalgo, while Mario Borbolla with Diego Cruz are fourth in another Peugeot 208.

A Renault Clio Rally5 is the car to beat in TER 2WD: Juan Carlos Fernandez and Esther de la Torre are taking a clean sweep of fastest stage times, while Oscar Gil with Carlos Chamorro follow in second with an Opel Adam R2.
