TER drivers shine in Portugal

Final stage push rewards Paddon and Daprà

 

Two TER crews managed to turn the tables in the final stage of the European Championship’s first round.

 

TER Series Ambassador, 2022 TER – Tour European Rally, Asia-Pacific and New Zealand Champion, Hyundai New Zealand driver Hayden Paddon codriven by John Kennard on a Hyundai i20 N Rally2 took his maiden victory in the continental series. Paddon showed great pace throughout the weekend’s treacherous changing weather conditions, fighting at the front until the final stage in which he clinched victory.

 

The final stage also rewarded Roberto Daprà and Luca Guglielmetti, who made the most of their Peugeot 208 Rally4 to take ERC4 honours.
