2023 TER – Tour European Rally ready for Round 4 in Piemonte

#RA Rally Regione Piemonte welcomes great stars in Alba

 

Just a short break and the 2023 TER – Tour European Rally is ready for more sporting action. After some amazing fights over the flowing gravel stages of Azores Rally, the series returns to tarmac in the UNESCO World Heritage background of the Langhe and Roero hills around Alba, which hosts the 17th edition of #RA Rally Regione Piemonte.

 

Amongst the crews ready to fight on the stages unwinding across the vineyards, 2-time Italian Champion and winner of the 2023 TER – Tour European Rally opening round in Rally Terra Valle del Tevere, Andrea Crugnola is seeded number 1 in his Citroën C3 Rally2. The 2-time TER – Tour European Rally Champion Giandomenico Basso drives a Škoda Fabia EVO.

 

Fresh from a record 10th victory in Otago Rally, maiden round of the new TER W Series, the TER Series Ambassador, 2022 TER – Tour European Rally, Asia-Pacific and New Zealand Champion, Hayden Paddon will take his first taste of the new Hyundai i20 N Rally2 on tarmac.

 

Returning to the Italian stages, 2020 WRC2 World Champion and winner of the 2022 TER Promo Event at Guanajuato in Mexico, Mads Østberg will drive a Citroën C3 Rally2. In a sister car, Stéphane Lefebvre is back in Alba after finishing 2nd in the 2022 event’s TER standings.

 

TER Ladies Trophy leader Rachele Somaschini returns to the newest concept of rally series after taking a category victory in the opening round.
