Round 7 of the 2023 TER – Tour European Rally, JDS Machinery Rali Ceredigion, provided two days of great sporting action and show over the challenging Cambrian mountains tarmac stages.

Driving a Volkswagen Polo, 2022 British Rally Champion Osian Pryce clinched his first TER – Tour European Rally victory with Stéphane Prevot on pacenotes. The crew started Day 1 with a small mistake in the opening test but quickly recovered to take the lead, then showed great pace through the afternoon taking three consecutive stage wins. A mature drive in Day 2 allowed them to celebrate in a sun-soaked and fan-packed Aberystwyth promenade.

On a sister car, local hero Meirion Evans settled for silver after a puncture in SS2, securing a Volkswagen Polo double: with Jonathan Jackson codriving, the Welshman managed a maiden finish in his home event and showed great performance, which also gave him the TER Power Stage victory worth 3 bonus points.

Final podium step for James Williams and Dai Roberts on a Hyundai I20N Rally2 by FS Sport: after struggling in the initial part of the rally, the crew found consistency on Saturday but also a great pace on Sunday, when they set four fastest times out of six stages.

Young Aoife Raftery, codriven by Geraldine McBride, takes both TER Junior and TER Ladies Trophy honours: after a small issue on the second stage, the Motorsport Ireland Rally Academy driver adopted a steady approach and took the spoils, after a small accident on SS 10 sidelined her team mates and fellow Irishmen Kyle McBride and Liam McIntyre who had been leading since the start.
