Evans grabs the first three points of the weekend

 

The TER - Tour European Rally Round 7 Power Stage, 27,52 kms long SS3 Cwm Ystwyth, awarded valuable points.

 

Driving a Volkswagen Polo R5, Local hero Meirion Evans, codriven by Jonathan Jackson, set fastest time on the race's longest test and secured 3 bonus points. On a sister car, 2022 British Rally Champion Osian Pryce, with former WRC codriver Stéphane Prevot, closed the stage in second place and took 2 points, ahead of James Williams and Dai Robert’s Hyundai I20N Rally2 which grabbed the last bonus point.

 

In TER Junior, Motorsport Ireland Rally Academy crews of Kyle McBride, codriven by Liam McIntyre, and Aoife Raftery, with Geraldine McBride, take respectively 3 and 2 bonus points after a demanding Special Stage.
