Rokiškio Grand Rally joins the 2026 TER – Tour European Rally and TER Historic.
Another surprise for the 2026 TER season: after the announcement that Rallye de A Coruña will be part of TER and TER Historic for the next three years, an agreement has been reached with Rokiškio Grand Rally in Lithuania. This event will join the 2026 TER – Tour European Rally and TER Historic calendar in August. Importantly, this marks the first Lithuanian event in TER history. It is arriving in the series’ eleventh year.
Based in the town of Rokiškis, in northeastern Lithuania near the Latvian border, the rally will take place on the fast Baltic gravel roads from 13 to 15 August 2026, promising spectacular action for crews and fans. Notably, Rokiškio Grand Rally is an annual automobile rally. It is a round of the Lithuanian Rally Championship, and in 2026 it will also host a round of the FIA European Rally Trophy. This confirms its growing international profile.
Rokiškis is a historic town whose origins date back to 1499. According to legend it was founded by a hunter named Rokas who was searching for hares, from which the town’s name is said to derive. Today it is known for its cultural heritage, including the Rokiškis Manor and the Church of St. Matthew. Additionally, it offers visitors a charming Baltic atmosphere.
Luca Grilli, TER Promoter and Organiser, said: “We are proud to welcome the Rokiškio Grand Rally to the 2026 TER – Tour European Rally and TER Historic calendars. Another fantastic location joins our series, and another great gravel event will add value to the 2026 TER season. The partnership between TER and Rokiškio Grand Rally promises great things, and we can’t wait to start working together for 2026.”
