The World Series of TER will kick off again in New Zealand next month with the Central Machine Hire Otago Rally at its 50th anniversary. WRC Stars and Dakar Ace Headline Otago Rally Opener, making this event especially exciting for motorsport fans.

The Central Machine Hire Otago Rally enters its third year in the series and kicks off TER Series, the World Series of TER, on April 10-12, 2026, in Dunedin, New Zealand.

World Rally Championship star Kris Meeke joins again the entry list. He brings his expertise to the demanding gravel stages alongside fellow WRC veteran Mads Østberg in the classic category. Also, Finnish ace Pasi Hagström will compete.
Australian motorsport icon Toby Price, a nine-time Finke Desert Race winner and Dakar Rally veteran, has confirmed his participation in a brand-new Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 car. Price expressed excitement about tackling the fast gravel roads and competing against a strong field. Additionally, he noted the event’s big reputation in Australia.

Expect 280km across 16 fast gravel special stages for the event’s 50th anniversary.

Dunedin, in New Zealand’s scenic Otago region, blends thrilling rally action with coastal eco-tourism. There is wildlife on the Otago Peninsula, museums, galleries, and diverse dining for crews and fans.
