The Rallye de A Coruña, set for February 28-29 in Galicia, Spain, will launch the 11th season of the TER – Tour European Rally and TER Historic series. This marks the first round under a new three-year agreement. Moreover, it brings competitors to the stunning Atlantic coast for a mix of coastal and hilly special stages.
The 30th edition starts with a shakedown, opening ceremony and the city Super Special Stage in A Coruña on Friday, February 27. Then, this is followed by competitive action on Saturday with five stages run twice.
Organizers highlight the event’s role in expanding TER’s European footprint, as noted by TER Promoter and Organiser Luca Grilli: “… We are delighted to welcome another new event which adds value to the TER…”.

After a decade in the Galician Championship, Rallye de A Coruña steps up to international status. It joins events in Italy, Croatia, Lithuania and Switzerland . In addition, it also collaborates with the TER Series, the world series of TER, in New Zealand, South Africa, Barbados. The rally showcases Galicia’s diverse terrain. As a result, it promises thrilling drives against breathtaking backdrops.
A Coruña, a historic Atlantic port, is famed for the Tower of Hercules, the world’s oldest functioning Roman lighthouse and a UNESCO site tied to Hercules legends and Celtic roots. The old town features medieval streets, Romanesque churches, and vibrant seafront promenades. These blend maritime heritage with Galician traditions.
