Swiss event retains its place in the TER – Tour European Rally and TER Historic and announces 2027 TER Series, the World Series of TER debut.
The Rallye du Chablais organisers have signed a two-year agreement extension with the TER. This stretches a successful cooperation which will reach seven seasons. As a result, it is the longest-running event in the latest concept of Rally Series.
The Swiss Alpine Rally will retain validity for the TER – Tour European Rally and TER Historic championships. From 2027 it will also become part of TER Series, the World Series of TER.
After the first three seasons together, the Chablais-TER collaboration paused in 2024. However, it returned with a renewed two-year agreement for 2025 and 2026. Those editions brought strong sporting value and major victories in Aigle. There were outstanding performances by names such as Sébastien Loeb, Grégoire Munster and François Delecour.
Nestled in the historic Chablais region, across the Swiss cantons of Vaud and Valais, with the start in Aigle in the canton of Vaud, Rallye du Chablais will continue to benefit from comprehensive global coverage. In addition, this will showcase the unique features of the area thanks to the unique TER TV distribution.
At the same time, it will take another step forward within the TER structure. This is thanks above all to the spectacular scenery in which the event is held. Furthermore, the excellent organisation behind it is important. It will also strengthen its role on the international rally stage.

Over the years the event has grown significantly in every aspect. The latest editions have been perfectly organised.
The collaboration with Eric Jordan and the entire organising committee has allowed us to deliver our best. It also allowed us to create a television product capable of promoting both the Rallye du Chablais and the magnificent territory which hosts it.”
