Galician Champion Set for A Coruña Opener In exciting news for motorsport fans, Iván Ares Returns to TER – Tour European Rally. This adds extra anticipation to the season opener.
Iván Ares, Spanish driver from Galicia, 2017 Spanish Tarmac Rally Champion, returns to the TER – Tour European Rally. He has achieved excellent results in past rallies in the series: twice 1st, once 2nd, once 3rd, and once 4th. Additionally, in 2021 he finished 2nd in the championship.
Ares will start the Rally de A Coruña with a Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 next week, Round 1 of TER – Tour European Rally 2026 and TER Historic 2026 codriven by Borja Rozada.

The action unfolds on the asphalt roads of Galicia, Spain, at the Rally de A Coruña (February 27-29), kicking off the 11th year of the TER.
