Perroud fastest out of the blocks at TER Historic in Rallye du Chablais

Local drivers trade places twice at the top of the leaderboard. 

 

Pascal Perroud, codriven by Julie Amblard on a BMW M3 was fastest in the opening stage of the 2022 TER Historic Round 3, Rallye du Chablais, ahead of Guy Troillet and Sébastien Moulin’s Porsche 911. The latter set the best time in the second special stage, and climbed on the top of the provisional standings, before losing time in the morning’s final test and dropping back down to second.
Tim Metcalfe and John Connor’s Ford Escort, with which they won Rallye Antibes Côte d’Azur a fortnight ago, is a solid third after the opening loop of stages.

 

“Zippo” - Denis Piceno’s Audi Quattro and the Ford Escort of Jean-Romain Cretegny with Eric Von Kaenel have experienced technical issues and should return to competitive action tomorrow.
