Swiss Champions search for action in Chablais

All the 2021 podium finishers back for more TER glory.

 

The third round of the 2022 TER – Tour European Rally is getting closer. Rallye du Chablais will see crews tackle the tricky Swiss alpine roads on Friday, June 3rd and Saturday 4th; 14 special stages, representing just over 170 kms of timed action, before the 2022 winners are celebrated in Aigle.

 

Amongst the crews registered for the newest concept of Rally series are former Swiss Champions Mike Coppens (with Renaud Jamoul returning at his side on a Citroën C3 Rally2) and Ivan Ballinari (codriven by Marco Menchini on the Škoda Fabia EVO). Joël Rappaz, with Kévin Bronner codriving his VW Polo GTI R5, completes the line-up of last year’s podium finishers.

 

The Rallye du Chablais will begin with the Start ceremony on Thursday June 2nd, in the Place Alphonse Mex of Aigle, from 19:00.
