Bonato leads the TER at the Rallye Antibes Cote d'Azur after the first day

The French idol is also 2nd Overall...

 

The first day of 2024 TER round 2 has just finished after a long battle on the tarmac roads of France, where the Rallye Antibes Cote d'Azur is taking place. 

Driving a Citroen C3 Rally2, Yoann Bonatoand Benjamin Boulloud are first in the TER - Tour European Rally standings, 38.9 seconds ahead of Hugo Margaillan and Corentin Silvestre's Hyundai i20N Rally2.

In third place are Xavier Quinsac and Aurelién Chiapello, who took their Škoda Fabia Rally2 2'54.5 seconds behind the leader.

Fourth TER position for de Ford Fiesta Rally2 of Bernd Casier and Pieter Vyncke which overtakes the Alpine A110 RGT of Pierre Vonic and Nicolas Valici in the last stage of the day.

The Belgian Lander Dhaene leads the TER Junior Classification and the Italian Paolo Raviglione the TER 2WD. 

 

In the Rallye Antibes Cote d'Azur Historic, the 2023 TER Historic J1/J2 champions Gabriele Rossi and Fabrizio Handel, on their usual Ford Sierra Cosworth, are in the lead of their category and 4th overall.

In TER Historic Pre81, 2021 Champions Philippe Giordanengo and Josh Reichenecker are on the lead of the category and 2nd overall, ahead of 3-time TER Historic Pre81 Champions Tim Metcalfe and John Connor., both in Ford Escort RS MKII.
