The 2022 TER season has started in Rally Terra Valle del Tevere

The 2022 TER - Tour European Rally is underway; crews have tackled the opening stage of Rally Terra Valle del Tevere, the first round of the newest concept of Rally series also counting for the all-gravel Raceday Rally Terra championship, which started this afternoon from Sansepolcro.

Alberto Battistolli and Simone Scattolin were fastest through the first test, ahead of Jean-Philippe Quilichini codriven by Fabrice Gordon and Alessandro Bettega with Paolo Cargnelutti; At the overnight regroup in Anghiari, Skoda Fabia R5s trusted the podium places, with the first three crews divided by just over one second, and with a total of nine cars in the top-ten.

Six crews encompassed within three seconds in the fight for the top ten. Argentinian Sergio Emiliano Biondi and Italy's Albrecht Baruffa continue their apprenticeship of the Fabia and the Italian gravel stages.

Rachele Somaschini and Nicola Arena (Citroen C3 R5) lead the TER Ladies' Trophy.

 
In the TER Historic, the  Lada Vaz 21011 of "Mésziati" and Bernadett Gerencsèr lead on Germano Bollini with Matteo Roggia on a Ford Escort.
