Ponta Delgada sees 2023 TER Series Round 3 off

Portuguese island night filled with World Class Rally stars.

 

A spectacular start ceremony kicked off the 57th Azores Rallye. Spectators had the chance to meet and greet the World Class drivers, taking pictures and autographs on the Ponta Delgada seafront. Later, a fan-filled ceremonial start over the Podium in the Praça Gonçalo Velho, became the first official act for the crews entered in the iconic Portuguese island event.

 

Prior to the start ceremony, Loeb and Mikkelsen headed some TER Series drivers, with Veiby, Cais, Solans and Diez following suit, and enjoyed taking part in a crowded TER Cooking Show, held in the TER Rally Village on the harbour promenade, sampling local specialities.

 

Sporting action in 57th Azores Rallye begins with Free Practice at 08:00 on March 31st.
