2022 WRC2 Champion Emil Lindholm Joins TER - Tour European Rally 2025

The Finnish driver will take the start at next week’s Rally Terra Sarda, ready to challenge Hayden Paddon.

 

Emil Lindholm, the 2022 WRC2 Champion and 2021 Finnish Rally Champion, has officially entered the 2025 TER – Tour European Rally. The Finnish ace is set to compete next week at Rally Terra Sarda, bringing even more international prestige to the event as he prepares for a thrilling showdown with New Zealand’s Hayden Paddon.

 

Lindholm, partnered with co-driver Reeta Hämäläinen in a Škoda Fabia RS Rally2, will contest the penultimate round of the TER – Tour European Rally series in the picturesque Ogliastra, Sardinia. After achieving victory at the 2019 Arctic Lapland Rally, TER’s showcase Promo Event marked the icy start of each season in Rovaniemi, Lindholm has continued to make headlines. This year, he has campaigned strongly in the World Rally Championship, contesting rounds in Spain, Italy, Greece, Finland, and Chile.

 

Rally Terra Sarda’s 2025 edition promises excitement at a new scenic location in Ogliastra. Among the entries is also the defending 2022 TER Champion and 2023 TER Series – the World Series of TER Champion, Hayden Paddon. 

The Sardinian rally will once again count towards the three TER Championships: the TER – Tour European Rally, the global TER Series, and the TER Historic.

 

Motorsport fans are set for a spectacular weekend as the penultimate round of the 10th TER season unfolds in Sardinia from October 17th to 19th.
