Sébastien Loeb leads Rallye du Chablais and the TER - Tour European Rally after Day 1

06.06.2025

The 9-time World Rally Champion is at the top of the standings in the second round of the TER after eight special stages.

After the first leg of the second round of the TER - Tour European Rally 2025, Sébastien Loeb and Laurène Godey are leading the Swiss event with their Alpine A110 Rallye RGT+, prepared by GL Automobiles.

The French driver and rally legend holds a 5.7-second lead over Jonathan Hirschi and Michael Volluz in their Citroën C3 Rally2.

The Swiss crew appears to be the only team capable of challenging Loeb for the overall victory.

Third place provisionally is for Mike Coppens and Christophe Roux in their Škoda Fabia RS Rally2, trailing the leader by 35.3 seconds.

There is also a fierce battle for fourth place in the series between the three Škoda Fabias of Maret, von Thurn und Taxis, and Perroud, and the Hyundai i20 of Charles Munster, with the four crews covered by just 12 seconds.

The 3 Škoda drivers Gonon, Loeffler, and Mella currently hold 8th, 9th, and 10th positions respectively in the TER standings.

The German duo René Noller and Anna-Maria Sedi lead the TER Junior with their Peugeot 208 Rally2.

In TER 2WD, two-time TER champions Edgar Vigo and Fatima Ameneiro are ahead of Swiss driver Papilloud.

Tomorrow, the second leg of Rallye du Chablais will feature six special stages that will decide the winner of the second round of the 2025 TER - Tour European Rally.
