TER Championships Unveil 2025 Calendars with Exciting New Entries, Returns and Confirmations.

The TER organisation is proud to announce the 2025 calendars of its three prestigious championships, marking significant milestones and showcasing a blend of new entries, welcome returns, and cherished confirmations across exceptional locations.
TER Series: The World Series of TER
The TER Series, entering its third year, will kick off its global journey in New Zealand with Otago Rally in Dunedin. This event, which inaugurated the championship in 2023, saw TER Ambassador Hayden Paddon claim victory. The series then moves to Mexico, welcoming back the Rally of Nations Guanajuato, previously a TER Promo Event in 2022.
Continuing its American leg, Rally Barbados retains its position as a cornerstone event for the third consecutive year. This rally has crowned champions in recent years, with Hayden Paddon winning in 2023 and Stuart Maloney clinching the 2024 title.
Rally Terra Sarda in Sardinia will once again serve as the grand finale for all three TER championships, including the TER Series. Additionally, the TER promoters are awaiting confirmation for the potential inclusion of Tennessee Rally USA in the summer months.
TER - Tour European Rally: A Decade of Excellence
Celebrating its 10th edition, the TER - Tour European Rally will commence in April with the new Rally Poreč in Croatia's Istrian region. The calendar sees the welcome return of Rallye du Chablais in Switzerland after a year's hiatus, having been a regular in the three previous seasons.
Latvia joins the championship with Rally Cēsis, introducing some fast gravel stages in the Baltic countries. Spain's Andalusia region maintains its presence with a new event, Rallye Ciudad de Granada, featuring the challenging dirt roads around Granada.
Rally Terra Sarda in Sardinia confirms its position for the fourth consecutive year. Decisions are pending regarding two Portuguese events under contract: Azores Rally and Rally de Lisboa.
TER Historic: Preserving Rally Heritage
In its 7th year, TER Historic will follow an identical calendar as the TER - Tour European Rally, culminating with Rally Terra Sarda.
TER Promo Events
The TER season has already begun with Arctic Lapland Rally in Rovaniemi, Finland, a long-standing TER Promo Event set in the surreal, fairy-tale atmosphere of the Arctic Circle. The "Cronoscalata Tandalò" is also confirmed as a TER Promo Event for the third consecutive year, scheduled at the end of the season.
As the TER championships enter 2025, they continue to offer a diverse and challenging platform for rally enthusiasts worldwide, blending historic venues with exciting new territories across Europe and beyond.
