One more week to enter Azores Rallye - 2023 TER Series Round 3

Iconic Portuguese classic ready for action

 

There is still one week left to enter the 57th Azores Rallye, Round 3 of the 2023 TER – Tour European Rally.

 

Based in Ponta Delgada, on the beautiful island of São Miguel, the event’s iconic gravel stages, like the Azoreans’ unique landscapes and beautiful locations, are well known around the world.

 

The crews’ first taste of sporting action will begin in the morning of Friday, March 31st; Eligible drivers will take part in free practice, followed by a qualifying stage, while other crews may register for shakedown. The first day of competition will kick off at 13:00 and the crews will tackle five special stages, including the iconic Sete Cidades test.

 

On Saturday April 1st, the itinerary comprises seven more stages, for a total competitive distance of just under 110 kms on the challenging gravel roads of the island. The final podium and prizegiving will be held in Ponta Delgada’s Praça Gonçalo Velho from 18:45
