First news on #RA Rally Regione Piemonte

Dawn breaks on the event

 

Organisers of the 2023 #RA Rally Regione Piemonte, new name of the popular Rally di Alba, have published the first details of the event, scheduled on 14-15 April.

 

The Alba based event will feature two days of sporting action, on the challenging stages across the vineyards of the Langhe and Roero hills, UNESCO World Heritage site. The route, revised according to the 2023 Italian Federation standards, will include 8 special stages, for a total mileage of just over 100 kms of competition.

 

The event programme begins on Thursday, April 13th with reconnaissance.

On Friday 14th,  scrutineering and shakedown in the morning. The Rally will start at 15.30 from Piazza San Paolo in Alba, with the crews tackling the first stage from 16:30, followed by a 45’ service and overnight regroup.

Saturday 15th  the action will resume with 7 more stages (two to be run twice and one to be repeated three times) to finish at 19.40 with the awards ceremony, once again in Piazza San Paolo.
