New TER Codriver Trophy will be decided in Sardinia

Rally Terra Sarda, final round of the 2022 TER – Tour European Rally, will be decisive in more than one way. 

 

Beside the TER Overall, TER Junior, TER Ladies’ Trophy and TER Historic classifications, one new-for-2022 prize, the TER Codriver Trophy, will be awarded to the codriver having totalled most points in the season, using the same scoring system of the other classifications.

 

During the past years, the newest concept of Rally series has welcomed some great codrivers; Belgian Martijn Wydaeghe went from codriving Chewon Lim in the series to sitting beside Hyundai Motorsport WRC works driver Thierry Neuville: he then won World Championship events, just like Frenchman Denis Giraudet who tackled some TER events with Romain Dumas, and New Zealander John Kennard.

 

Amongst other successful codrivers who took part in the series are Marc Banca, Lorenzo Granai, Florian Haut-Labourdette, Jeannette Kvick, Eleonora Mori, Simone Scattolin.

 

The provisional standings of the 2022 TER Codriver Trophy before Rally Terra Sarda are:

- 3. Benjamin Boulloud 33 pt.
