Trolliet – Moulin secure second consecutive Rallye du Chablais TER Historic win

04.06.2022

Metcalfe – Connor take the series lead after the 3rd round

The 2019 TER Historic J1/J2 Champions, Guy Trolliet and Sebastien Moulin have won for the second year in a row the TER Historic classification in Rallye du Chablais. With a Porsche 911, the Swiss crew took the lead at the end of the opening day and held it to the finish.

Tim Metcalfe and John Connor’s Ford Escort finished in second place. The winners of TER Historic Round 2, Rallye Antibes Côte d’Azur, climb into a well deserved mid-season series lead.

The first leaders of the event, Pascal Perroud - Julie Amblard (BMW M3 E30), retired on saturday evening, after having won 3 out of 5 stages.

2021 ERC Group 3 Historic Champions Zippo and Denis Piceno (Audi Quattro) were sidelined in the opening stage due to a clutch issue. Rejoining on Sunday, they were fastest in the first three stages of the day but had to stop once again after a turbo failure on Stage 10. Mechanical failures also struck twice Jean-Romain Cretegny - Eric Von Kaenel’s Ford Escort.
