French star claims commanding victory in Switzerland as Bachmann and Hermanson secure category wins in Round 2 of the 2026 TER Historic season

Francoise Delecour delivered a spectacular performance at the Rallye du Chablais, taking a dominant victory in the TER Historic K behind the wheel of his iconic Peugeot 306 Maxi by Ike, co-driven by Fabrice Gordon.

The former WRC driver controlled the event from start to finish, setting the fastest time on 13 of the 15 special stages and securing both the overall win in the Rallye du Chablais VHC and victory in the second round of the 2026 TER Historic K series.

In the TER Historic J1/J2 championship, Switzerland’s Pascal Bachmann, alongside French co-driver Xavier Machet, claimed top honors in their BMW M3.

The TER Historic Pre81 category saw a successful debut for Estonian driver Alar Hermanson, co-driven by Slovakian Iveta Halčinová.
The pair impressed on their first appearance in the series, taking victory with their Hillman Avenger.

It was a difficult rally for the Spaniards Daniel Alonso and Sergio Fernández with a Ford Escort WRC, who were forced to retire from the Rallye du Chablais before the finish.

The TER Historic championship will return in mid-August in Lithuania for the Rokiškio Grand Rally, where competitors will once again battle for points in what promises to be another exciting round.
