Two Former WRC Drivers on Top in Switzerland
At the end of the second day of competition, Françoise Delecour leads the TER Historic,. Meanwhile, Grégoire Munster tops the TER – Tour European Rally standings in Switzerland.
After 9 special stages disputed out of a total of 15, Grégoire Munster and Maxime Andernack are the overall leaders at Rallye du Chablais. This event marks Round 3 of the TER – Tour European Rally 2026.
The former M-Sport Ford WRC driver dominated the first part of the rally with his Hyundai i20N Rally2. Furthermore, he leads by 24.8 seconds over the 2025 Swiss Champion Mike Coppens, co-driven by Christophe Roux in a Skoda Fabia RS Rally2.
Third place is for another Skoda Fabia, with experienced Swiss driver Florian Gonon and Frédéric Hugon at his side. They are currently 38.4 seconds behind the leader.
Two more Skoda Fabia RS cars follow in 4th and 5th positions. Those of Lathion and Loeffler are respectively 41.5 seconds and 1 minute and 6 seconds behind Munster.
Pascal Perroud is 6th overall, ahead of the two Citroën c3 Rally2 of the French drivers Lagrue and Lechartier.
German René Noeller and Anna-Maria Seidl lead the TER Junior classification with their Peugeot 208 Rally4.
In the TER 2WD standings, David Papilloud and Bruno dos Santos are currently in the lead.
Notably, two TER crews retired during Friday’s stages. They are Thibault Maret with his Citroën C3 Rally2 and Mathieu Zurkinden with his Peugeot 208 Rally4.
In the TER Historic Championship, French idol Françoise Delecour, co-driven by Fabrice Gordon, leads both the Rallye du Chablais VHC and the TER Historic K classification. He drives the spectacular Peugeot 306 Maxi.
The Frenchman is ahead of Spaniards Daniel Alonso and Sergio Fernández. These crews follow in the TER Historic K standings with their Ford Escort WRC.
The winner of the TER Historic J1/J2 at the 2025 Rallye du Chablais, Pascal Bachman, was forced to retire after the final special stage of the day due to a mechanical issue on his BMW M3. At the time, he was leading the TER Historic J1/J2 standings.
Estonian Alar Hermanson, co-driven by Slovakian Iveta Halčinová, leads the TER Historic Pre81 classification with his Hillman Avenger.
Six special stages await the crews on the third and final day of competition in Switzerland. The country has offered two summer days to the crews, spectators, and all those present in Aigle for the 2026 edition of Rallye du Chablais. Notably, this marks the fifth appearance of the event in the TER calendar.
