The 17-year-old Italian, winner in Croatia, lines up at the Rokiškio Grand Rally with a Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 to chase maximum points on the fast Baltic gravel. Meanwhile, the series awaits confirmation of the event replacing the cancelled Rally Terra Sarda.
Matteo Bernini and co-driver Lorenzo Mattucci are set to contest the fourth round of the 2026 TER – Tour European Rally at the Rokiškio Grand Rally in Lithuania. They aim to regain the championship lead.
The 17-year-old Italian became the youngest winner in TER history with victory at the second round in Poreč (Croatia) in April. Afterwards, he was overtaken by Grégoire Munster following Munster’s win at the Rallye du Chablais.
The Italian duo will return behind the wheel of the Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 that delivered their Poreč triumph. They are targeting a strong points haul on the quick Lithuanian gravel stages. Additionally, their campaign continues as the series awaits official confirmation of the rally that will replace the final round. This change comes after organizers announced the cancellation of the Rally Terra Sarda for the 2026 season.
On the fast Lithuanian gravel stages, 59 crews from 8 different nations will be at the start.
The appointment is in Rokiškis, Lithuania, for the Rokiškio Grand Rally from 13 to 15 August, a round valid for the TER – Tour European Rally. It is also valid for TER Historic 2026.
