Safety concerns following severe flooding force a schedule change, with alternative plans now under review.
TER Series has received the official notice that the 2026 Algoa National Rally, scheduled for 9–11 July, has been postponed due to the impact of severe flooding in the Eastern Cape in South Africa.
The damage to parts of the route, bridges and supporting infrastructure has made it impossible to confirm the event as planned at this stage.
The decision was taken after consultation with the relevant stakeholders.
Importantly, safety for competitors, officials, volunteers, spectators and local communities remains the top priority.
Organisers are now exploring alternative dates later in 2026.
TER Series expresses its support to all involved and looks forward waiting the new date of Algoa National Rally.
