The 2016 Tour European Rally Champion Simone Tempestini plays his « Joker » in the Transilvania Rally.

The Romanian Simone Tempestini, first winner of the 2016 TER – Tour European Rally uses his « Joker » on the occasion of the Transilvania Rally. Simone Tempestini is in the TER – Tour European Rally for the fourth consecutive year.

All drivers entered in the 2019 TER can use a « joker » and all points scored have a coefficient of « 1,5 » bonus for the crews in the series. They can choose to play  their « joker » whenever they want during a round of the 2019 TER – Tour European Rally. They must only inform the organiser of the series before the start of the rally.

Simone Tempestini made his competition debut in 2009. He won the 2015, 2016 and 2018 Romanian Rally Championship and  won both the 2016 JWRC and the WRC 3 categories of the World Rally ChampionshipRC. The same year, he won the TER – Tour European Rally.

He will be at the start of the 2019 Transilvania Rally with a Hyundai I20 R5.
