Heinz Walter Schewe confirms his first position in the overall standing of the TER H – Tour European Rally Historic

Germany’s Heinz Walter Schewe codriven by the Belgian Frank Blondeel finished the 60th ConXion Omloop Van Vlaanderen strengthen his lead in the overall classification of the  TER H – Tour European Rally Historic by winning a new victory after the Rallye d’Antibes Côte d’Azur.

They precede the Belgian Pierre Jamin and René Beyers on Daf 66 Marathon.

Tim Metcalfe and John Connor on Ford Escort RS 1800 were unlucky by losing the second place of the overall classification in the TER H – Tour European Rally Historic. On the section road at the end of the last special stage of the 60ème ConXion Omloop Van Vlaanderen Rally, they hit a cement block  breaking the steering of the car.
