Great fights in sight at TER round 5 – Rallye International du Valais

Waiting for the official entry list which will be published at 12:00 on Thursday, October 19th, a short preview of some drivers entered in the fifth round of the 2017 TER – Tour European Rally, the Rallye International du Valais on October 27-28.

The R5 class will feature the rivals for the championship, italian Giandomenico Basso (Hyundai New Generation i20 R5 – BRC Racing Team) and belgian Bernd Casier (Ford Fiesta R5 – Team Floral), the Škoda Fabias R5 of 8-time Rallye du Valais winner Olivier Burri and german Stefan Göttig, the Ford Fiestas of 2016 Swiss Champion Sébastien Carron and czech Jaroslav Orsák, as well as the Hyundai New Generation i20 R5 of the Hyundai Motorsport south korean driver Chewon Lim.

In the other classes, dutchmen Jim van den Heuvel and Henk Bakkenes will battle in the TER Production Trophy and portuguese Renato Pita will try to take the lead of the TER 2WD Trophy.
