Tour European Rally crew secures 2017 national title in Romania

The crew of Bogdan Marisca – Carmen Poenaru, driving a Napoca Rally Academy Ford Fiesta R5, clinched the 2017 Romanian Rally Championship at Cotnari Ralli Iasi last weekend.

For Bogdan Marisca this is the second title after the one he secured in 2005, while it is a maiden win for Carmen Poenaru, alongside the same driver with whom she made her rallying debut a decade ago.

Bogdan Marisca – Carmen Poenaru are currently fourth in the 2017 TER – Tour European Rally standings after taking second place in the season opening round at Transilvania Rally.
