With the fastest time in the first Special Stage, the  Spanish crew, Jesus Manuel Ferreiro Perez codriven by Javier Anido  Vazquez with their Ford Escort RS 2000 are leading the TER H – Tour European Rally Historic and Rallye Rias Altas. They precede in the TER H ranking, another Spanish crew, Francisco Lopez Rivas and Miguel Pena Vazquez also on Ford Escort RS 2000. In the J1/J2 Trophy, Jose Manuel Lopez Castrillon and Jose Valcarcel Herbella on Ford Sierra Cosworth are in the first position of the series.
Antonio Sainz Cenamor, brother of the famous World Rally Champion, Carlos Sainz codriven by Javier Martinez-Cattaneo Hingston on a Subaru Legacy 2.0 Turbo occupying the fourth position of the Rallye Rias Altas.
