Tour European Rally 2018 Regulations

 

Art. 1 - DEFINITION AND ORGANISATION

1.1 - In 2018 the Tour European Rally Promoter will organise a series named 2018 Tour European Rally (TER). The series will be governed according to the International Sporting Code (ISC) and its Appendixes, the FIA Regional Rally Sporting Regulations, the National Regulations of the Countries in which the Rallies are held, plus the present regulations.

 

Art. 2 - EVENTS CALENDAR

2.1 - The events valid for the 2018 TER – Tour European Rally are: 

- Transilvania Rally – Romania – 4/5 May 2018

- Rallye Antibes Côte d'Azur – 18/20 May 2018

- Renties Ypres Rally – Belgium – 21/23 June 2018

- Rali Vinho da Madeira - Madeira, Portugal - 3/4 August 2018

- Rally d'Abruzzo - Italy - 8/9 September 2018 (Gravel)

- Rallye International du Valais – Switzerland – 18/20 October 2018


 

Art. 3 – ELIGIBLE COMPETITORS AND DRIVERS

3.1 – Holders of national and international licences will be admitted to the 2018 TER – Tour European Rally Series, in accordance with the 2018 International Sporting Licences Regulations. The DMACK TER2 Cup will be reserved to drivers under 26 (i.e. born after 01/01/1992) using R2 cars. 

 

Art. 4 - ELIGIBLE VEHICLES

4.1 – The 2018 TER – Tour European Rally is reserved to vehicles complying with the following standards:
- Vehicles with active homologation or allowed to take part in 2018 national and international rallies (except World Rally Championship) under Article 2.7.1.. c) of the ISC.

 

Art. 5 – SERIES REGISTRATION AND SCORING REGULATIONS

5.1 – In the 2018 TER – Tour European Rally registration for the Series and for the DMACK TER2 Cup will be free of charge, it will be possible to register until the posting of the start list of each rally.

 

5.2 - In the 2018 TER – Tour European Rally, there is no minimum number of participants required for any given TER scheduled event.

5.3 - For the final standings,all the results will be considered.

5.4 - In the event of two or more drivers being tied on points at any time during the season, the driver having set the fastest time in the most stages will be considered as being the leader.

5.5 – Fuel is free, but must comply with the supplementary regulation of the event.

5.6 – Tyres must comply with FIA Regulations, and the maximum number of tyres allowed will be specified in the supplementary regulations of each event. The “DMACK TER2 Cup” will have a unique tyre manufacturer: DMACK.

 

Art. 6 – QUALIFYING STAGE 

6.1 – The 2018 TER – Tour European Rally events may hold a "Qualifying Stage", followed by the choice of the start positions. This should be preceeded by a free practice session on the same stage, with two practice runs allowed per each crew. Organisers who choose to hold a “Qualifying Stage” will specify further details in the event's Supplementary Regulations.

 

Art. 7 - CLASSIFICATION - SCORES FOR EACH RALLY

7.1 - In each round, the competitors registered for the 2018 TER – Tour European Rally, will score the following points, according to their result in the events' final classification for drivers registered in the 2018 TER – Tour European Rally:

OVERALL – DMACK TER2 Cup – TER Production Trophy – TER 2WD Trophy

8th - 4 Points

10th - 1 Point

Note: All the remaining competitors classified from 11th place (included) onwards will also get 1 (one) point.

7.2 - In the 2018 TER – Tour European Rally competitors registered for the series will receive additional points as follows:

7.2.1 - Each competitor will receive 3 points at the third start in a 2018 TER – Tour European Rally event, 1 further point at the fourth, fifth and sixth start in a 2018 TER – Tour European Rally event, foor a maximum of 6 points.

7.2.2 – In each event of the 2018 TER – Tour European Rally, before the start of the rally, the TER promoter and the rally organiser will choose one Special Stage of the rally as the “Power Stage”. In this Special Stage the 5 fastest TER competitors, and the 5 fastest “DMACK TER2 Cup” competitors, will collect additional points:

1st - 5 Points

2nd - 4 Points

3rd - 3 Points

4th - 2 Points

5th - 1 Point

7.2.3 – In each event of the 2018 TER – Tour European Rally, points will be awarded to the best two cars (of each kind) driven by competitors entered in the TER, according to the series' points system. A Trophy will be presented to the TER Best Car Trophy winning manufacturer at the final TER prizegiving.

 

Art. 8 - CLASSIFICATION OF THE SERIES / CUPS

8.1 - In each event of the 2018 TER – Tour European Rally, a dedicated classification will be published comprising only the competitors registered for the series.

 

Art. 9 – FINAL PRIZES

9.1. - The Overall winning crew (Driver and Codriver) will be awarded the title of 2018 TER Winner. The prize for the winning crew will be a rally in a R5 car, within a professional team, on an all costs paid basis.

9.2. - The “DMACK TER2 Cup” winning crew (Driver and Codriver) will be awarded the title of 2018 TER2 Cup Winner. The prize for the winning crew will be a rally in a R5 car, within a professional team, on an all costs paid basis.
